Castelluccio ecotype, cultivated on the slopes of the Subasio Mountain, on not very productive soils but rich of microelements, that, against the extremely modest productions, confer large organolettic quality, is more than worthy, if not superior, to the better known lentil of Castelluccio, of which is daughter.
